Floors : vacuum or mop ( dust bunnies love all of the tile and hardwood that we have in our houses now ) Now those 2 things can be done while listening to some good tunes or merely catching up on some pent up energy.

Ideas and tips for good home spring cleaning. There’s one thing that we must do each day and that’s eat. So I really like to clean the kitchen while I am cooking dinner.

I spend some moments doing the following while I wait for the water to boil. Kitchen sink : Scrub and disinfect Appliances : wipe down surfaces Microwave : clean and deodorize Fridge : Clean interior OK so now we have got the easy stuff out of the way and we can do the hard stuff! Nobody and I actually do not know anybody that likes to wash the lavatory. But it is gotta be done! Counters : Wipe down and disinfect Tub / shower : Scrub down and clean Toilet : Scrub ( with a toilet brush ) and disinfect And the last of the once a week chores. Change and Launder the sheets. The Monthly chores may take a touch more time to do, but you will find that once you start it isn’t to much to take on. Perhaps even do just 1 or 2 a week.

Upholstery : Vacuum Kitchen Cupboards : Wipe down doors Stove Burner Grates : Scrub Clean Waste baskets : Wipe out ( I love to keep those grocery bags in my trash cans, they stay far cleaner ) Moldings : Dust Door and Doorhandles : Wipe down Ceiling Fans : Dust Stove Hood : Degrease and clean now we’re to the more boring roles the ones that we all like to put off till we just can’t any longer.These are the chores that should be done each six to twelve months : Stove : Clean ( I have a self cleaning stove, I love to clean it right before Thanksgiving, that way it is clean for that giant Turkey ) Lamp shades : vacuum or wash and clean Fabric Shades : wash if easy-clean Cupboards : Empty and clean Tile Grout : Scrub Pillows : Launder or dry clean Condenser Coil on fridge : Vacuum Comforter : Launder or Dry Clean Curtains : Wash or dry clean Windows : Wash inside and outside Mattresses : Vacuum and flip Drapes : Vacuum Mini Blinds : Wash I really like to try to have the following done each year or two.

Carpets : Professionally Cleanned Walls : Wash Drapes : Professionally clean from some of professional maid cleaning services. Now remember these are simply a few suggestions.

We all live such busy lives, that even with all our current day appliances we just run out of time. And the most vital things of our lives is passing more time with our families.Hopefully these pointers may help you do more of that.
