A property in a sought after location was on the market. This property was a 2 bedded city house. The owner considered that due to its location he’d have no difficulty selling it and thus it wasn’t worth time or money in rectifying its defects. The house had formerly been let.

The tenants had vanished in the middle of the night owing many months lease. Instead of re-let the property the owner made a decision to put it on the market. Twelve weeks later and after 50 viewings not a single offer had come in. The agent finally satisfied the seller to get the property cleaned up, its only defect! This is when we, Glint Cleaning Services were called in.

Judging by what we discovered in the house the prior renter had been a regular drinker! Much of it was still sticking to the kitchen floor! Also they were firm tops of fried food as the cooker hob was caked in a thick layer of grease that had overflowed onto the floor and mixed with the beer! All of the window frames had a pleasant line in mold growing on them, and almost all of the rooms had become a comprehensive haven for spiders. The toilet was disreputable just leave it at sickening. So our cleaning service team arrived on a Saturday morning 7.30am, twelve bin liners, 2 vacuum cleaner bags, two litres of descaler, one litre of range cleaner, 1.5 litres of heavy duty degreaser, three litres of general purpose cleaner ( with bactericidal agents ) and 50 cleaning garments later we were putting the finishing touches to the property ( 11.15 ) when the estate agency arrived with a potential buyer for a viewing.

By 12.30 reputedly the sale of the property had been concluded on for the full asking price. So that the 140 was an extremely worthwhile investment! Now only a few homes put on the market are in that class but most could benefit from a good deep clean from maid cleaning services and who wants to do that before moving out?
